Michael Rumaker wrote "The Fairies Are Dancing All Over the World" in 1975. It was first published and copyrighted in 1975 in Winston Leyland's periodical, Gay Sunshine, with subsequent publications in 1977, 1983, 1986, and 1988. This edition presents the entire poem on a single page to allow the eyes to feel the rhythm of the lines.
